Alex Khattab
Alex Khattab is an established Syrian artist. His work reflects playful movement through bold and free use of colour that give his work sensitivity. Khattab explores a spectrum of emotions fuelled by placement and displacement. His process is distinguished through conceiving and completing his works alla prima in minimal time.
Khattab studied Fine Arts at the University of Damascus. He also worked with print making and drawing caricatures that were published largely in Egypt.
His works have been exhibited in Egypt and Cyprus and are part of private collections in Europe and the Middle East. Khattab is currently based in Cyprus.
